Think you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Think again! Dogs of all ages crave a job. Join Laura Nativo & Preston Casanova, the duo named “America’s Favorite Ma & Paw” by Entertainment Weekly, as they share Hollywood’s movie dog secrets for training advanced tricks and creative behaviors. You’ll
learn the how your dog can break into show business as a canine actor – regardless of where you live! Or, apply your dog’s star pawtential to help humans off-screen, through canine entertainment, as a certified therapy dog.
Trick training is perhaps the most fun way to bond with your four-legged best friend, providing the mental and physical stimulation dogs need to thrive! Dogs without a “job” are often bored, and left to find their own source of entertainment (your cat? shoes? couch?) which translates to many owners as misbehavior.
Using Positive Reinforcement Methods through Clicker & Yes! Training, you will learn how to transfer your dog’s energy into a fun, positive, rewarding outlet, and become a happier, more stable, better mannered canine in the process. Trick training helps your dog build confidence, improve flexibility, develop body awareness, strengthen thinking abilities, and understand how better to communicate with you.
Celebrity dog trainer Laura Nativo designed this 2 hour seminar to give each dog parent the tools and understanding of “how to” train through play, as you integrate trick training into your daily life.
This playshop welcomes dogs of all ages with a foundation of basic obedience, and is a terrific supplement to your dog’s current group classes or in-home training.
